Photos from days 11-13 below. Everyone's eyes are at least open a slit - Pikachu was last; Starbell was (with everything so far) first. They are FUN :-)  I'll try to take two week-old portraits tomorrow - Adam said he'll help me :-).

Motherhood is tiring

Puppies Video: day 10 

The puppies are ten days old today and some of them have small peepers where their eyes start to open. They also already practice some barking (!) (Starbell was first) and they lick my face when I pick them up (puppy breath!!!!) Soon they will be playful interactive tiny dogs :-)

Day six! the five puppies are growing FAST and we (Adam...) named them: Purple girl is Star-Bell Fire-puppy (don't ask..), Orange girl is Rainchu, Green boy is Side-Kick, Yellow girl is Pikachu and Grey boy is Foxfire. These are (mostly) Pokemon names (I had no idea...). Evie continues to be super-mom; Shiva is a bit jealous. She wishes Evie would let her help with the babies but she accepts being told to go lie down away from them. I'm working on two grants due May 15th so that's it for now.
